Jep, I installed Ubiquity on my Mac, at first I could not see the use for it and was about to remove it again. This has not happend, because I started to hit that key combo (alt-space) when I had marked an address in firefox or when there were some text in Spanish or Danish(in the picture), which was translated into english in three keystrokes. This is very cool and very time saving.
These are the basic features of Ubiquity and you can also customize the way Ubiquity works to your desire.
Find out more at the Ubiquity website
I do feel that some of the features are better or more useful than others. Weather is not a thing that I find useful in Ubiquity. But that should not stop you from trying it out - ASAP

If you like pen and paper to jot down ideas and work on projects, then the “free” you still have to pay for the print-out
graph paper website is for you.
I really like the isometric templates, which is a great help.

Will the desktop change forever? the people behind Bumptop defintivly think so.
There are some very cool ideas in the Bumptop, I do see a problem in movig my messy desk onto the computer, since it uses the same analogy. Look out though, features from their ideas will move into how we use computers in the future. One question is how fast are people willing to change? (take a look at car designs)

I absolutely love my moleskin notebook, the cheer quality and feel of the product, just make me happy. I know it’s very low tech – but I absolutely love my moleskin notebook, the cheer quality and feel of the product, just make me happy. I know it’s very low tech, but it never run out of battery and it’s instant on
The main problem I do have, with the moleskin, is that there is no built in pen holder and that’s irritating, because I need at pen to write/draw with and most of the time I’m just carrying the moleskin with me and nothing else (i.e. no bag to hold moleskin and pen)
But I recently bought a nice clip, that holds my pen in a nice, comfortable, stylish way, together with my moleskin, so now I don’t loose my pen, and have to ask stranger to lend their pen.
I’ve purchased the pen holder in Hamburg in Germany in a shop called Bethge - I cannot find the pen holder in their webshop

Stumbled over this new GTD tool via TUAW. i’ve justed installed the test version and will test the product over the next 29 days. Dejumble is easy to install and setup (like most osx products). The intergration with iCal is easy and it means that you do not have to make up your own group (you can if you would like to use more catagories - like a more complete GTD system)
The seamlesss intergration with iCal, will help sync with your other devices (iPhone/Touch)
First incounter with the software is pleasent and it looks like it’s going to do the trick for me (simple and fast to use)

This is the camera that I’m looking forward to test and use in 2008. Of course I would like the new Canon 1Ds Mark III, but If I have to look at price/preformance and then compare that to my personal needs, then I’ll be looking at the 5D mark II.
My needs are:
- Studio Photography
- On-site Photography
- Wedding Photography
